Supportive Living Services (SLS)
Compass Rose Ranch is a Supportive Living Services Agency, serving developmentally impaired adults in a manner than promotes independence and self-direction wherever possible. We offer a unique program design that supports improved well-being in both functional areas, utilizing the talents of well-trained staff to improve outcomes for the adults we serve. Supportive Living Services (aka SLS) promotes independence through collaboration and a holistic approach to self-direction. Clients are at the helm of their life, making day-to-day decisions about how they choose to live and fulfill their own meaningful purpose. SLS promotes safety and well-being by honoring our clients choices and providing a platform that allows clients to choose how they live, who they associate with, and how they will find meaningful ways to engage the community and the things they care most about.
SLS is not Independent Living or a caregiving program. Adults in SLS are expected to participate in their lives and staff are provided to come alongside our clients and encourage positive choices and experiences through advocacy, consistency, and rapport building with each and every client.
