Creating Change

Compass Rose Ranch offers a 6-bed Adult Residential Facility for full-time care and out-of-home respite opportunities for young adult men (ages 18-28) with developmental and mental health disabilities who need a higher level of care. We are the ONLY residential program in El Dorado County that serves individuals specifically with Mental health and developmental impairments. We offer a unique program design that supports improved well-being in both functional areas, utilizing the talents of well-trained staff to improve outcomes for those we serve.

Our team is comprised of amazingly talented people from all background types. We are diverse, educated, and most of all, we genuinely care and choose to participate in making a difference. We are not status-quo; we are do-ers, advocates, and ambassadors for the individuals we serve.

What We Do

Our Community

Our main goal is to provide residential and community-based services to young adults who need strong support to build independence, strong community relationships to improve accessibility, and promote a person-centered approach treatment.

Our community is our lifeline of support and we promote community relationships and engagement. Stakeholders in the community are valuable to our success.

Our Target Population

We serve young adults between the ages of 18-30 who have been diagnosed with co-occurring conditions that include developmental disabilities and mental health impairments.

Examples of some of the diagnosis we serve include:
Autism /PDD
OCD
Bipolar Disorder
Schizophrenia
ADHD
Intellectual Impairment
If you want to know if your diagnosis qualifies for our program, please call. We do not provide medical services.
